Not everyone knows that I was born in Dublin where we lived until I was 8. My parents decided in 1997 that it was time to move to the country so off to Nurney, Carlow we went (my mother’s home village) . I was more than a little nervous but little did I know that less than 2km up the road lived Audrey, who became my best friend instantly. Audrey is salt of the earth, one of the best people anyone could know. She’s always up for a bit of craic and calls things as she sees them. My childhood wouldn’t have been the same without Audrey in it, we spent almost every day for years and years either out hacking the roads on our little ponies or gossiping down the phone. She’s been like a sister and I look forward to the many more adventures we’ll have together. 💕

I met Emma when Conor first brought her to Nurney to meet the family (they’re now married, living in New Zealand where Emma is from and have the cutest baby girl, Maeve). Emma is a real character, she’s so funny and I instantly loved being around her from the moment I met her. I used to love weekends when they’d be down from Belfast where Emma lived at the time. Emma is a total sweetheart who is so patient and kind with everyone she meets. Her New Zealand laid back attitude is a dream to be around and she exudes calmness. Everyone needs an Emma in their life! 💕

I first met Niall at a wedding in Portugal years ago. We became instant friends. He’s good craic, always up for fun and someone you can call at any time of the day….unless you have a speeding ticket, in which case he’s useless 😅

Conor is Jen’s brother. We first met on a trip to Nurney when Jen took me to meet her family. Conor is the height of energy and fun. He’d do anything for anyone and is never short of a good story! If you’re looking for him, you’ll most likely find him on the dance floor 🤣
